John K. Bury, AAI
President

Jack began his insurance career as a claims adjuster for Crawford & Company in Philadelphia. He then returned to Allentown to work as a producer in a local insurance agency. He joined the Butz Company in 1980 as manager and eventually co-owner. Butz merged with the Hacker Agency in 1995 to form Butz Hacker Company, Inc. Butz Hacker then merged with AIM Insurance Agency in 2002 to form Arbor Insurance Group. Jack is past president of the local agents association and taught insurance courses for local colleges and the Independent Insurance Association of Pennsylvania. He holds an Accredited Advisor in Insurance designation.




William C. Hacker, AAI, ARM
Sr. Vice President

After graduation from Penn State, Bill began his career as an engineer. He then joined his father's agency as a producer and eventually acquired an ownership interest. The William H. Hacker Co. merged with the Butz Company Insurance, Inc. to form Butz Hacker Company, Inc. Butz Hacker merged with AIM Insurance Agency in 2002 to form Arbor Insurance Group. Bill is president of the retail agency. Bill has both the Accredited Advisor in Insurance & Associate in Risk Management designations. He is active in developing and promoting insurance and risk management courses at Desales University.




Eric B. Blew, LUTCF
Treasurer

Eric began his insurance career as a producer for an agency in Allentown. He was able to purchase his book of business and start his own agency, purchasing others along the way. In 1990, he merged his Blew Moyer Agency with The Butz Company, Inc. to form The Butz Company Insurance, Inc. Butz merged with the Hacker Agency in 1995 to form Butz Hacker Company, Inc. Butz Hacker merged with AIM Insurance Agency in 2002 to form Arbor Insurance Group. Eric is active in Life Underwriters and holds a Life Underwriters Training Council Fellow designation.




Jeff Duplak, CIC
Vice President of Agency Development

Jeff came to the Pennsylvania Insurance Alliance in November 2006 with 25+ years of insurance related experience on the company side that included agency management, marketing, underwriting and automation. His most recent position prior to coming to PIA was Assistant Vice President of agency management and administration for Harleysville Insurance. In that role, Jeff was responsible for managing and developing the agency plant for Harleysville nationwide as well as for agency contracts, incentives and compensation. Jeff is a graduate of Kutztown University and holds a Certified Insurance Counselor designation.
